Grow Your Business – Pamper Your Customers!

‘The customer is always right!’.  ‘Customer is king!’  These are only two of the famous maxims businessmen are expected to respect and adhere to if they want their ventures to flourish.  It may look unfair but every businessman knows that dismissing these is not worth the risk.  Businesses thrive because of its customers which is why its owners struggle and strive hard to keep their clientele happy and satisfied.

Get Personal

When customers buy your product or avail of your services, it means they have put their trust that you are the solutions-provider they can depend on.  They will appreciate it if you will treat them not just as paying-customers but as your partners.  And as partners, make an effort to know them by their names, show interest in their lives without getting too obnoxious, of course.  Once customers feel safe and comfortable with your business like they do with their friends, then it’s going to be easier for you to gain their loyalty.

Plus, knowing your customers will you ideas on how you can improve your products or develop new ones that will guarantee repeat purchases.

Go the Extra Mile

Now, this is not the same with bribery.  One way of pampering your customers is make them feel that you value their contributions to your business through simple tokens of appreciation.   You can give regular exclusive discounts or freebies to your loyal customers.  This will help you retain the customers you have and through your goodwill they may reciprocate by putting out a good word for you.

Get their Feedback

Again, customers like it when they are treated as partners and that their opinions are greatly valued.  After all they are the ones who are using your products and experiencing your services.  As a businessman, you have to be open to criticism since these can help you in enhancing your business.   Putting up a suggestion or comment box is just one of the ways to know what they want and what they need.
